As a qualified Substance Abuse Professional and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Misty Locknane has over 10 years experience in assessing and treating addictions and various other mental/behavioral health problems. She recognizes that, many times, persons with substance abuse issues minimize, rationalize, or deny that the problem even exists. Other times, problems with alcohol or other drugs (such as borrowing another person’s prescribed pain relief medication) are isolated incidents or oversights.
